A Prophetic Word for August: Embrace the Hard Shift

As I prayed concerning the month of August, I kept sensing that this would not be a month of small adjustments. For many, August represents a hard shift: a time when God is calling us to release what has served its purpose so we can fully embrace what He is preparing us to carry next.

There are moments when what worked in one season cannot go with us into another. That doesn’t mean we failed. It means the assignment is changing, and God is requiring a different level of obedience, clarity, and intentionality.

I believe this word is especially significant for women prophets, apostolic leaders, and those called to both ministry and the marketplace who have sensed that something is shifting but may not yet have had language for it.

As you watch or read this prophetic word, I want you to prayerfully ask: What is God asking me to release? What is He asking me to build? And what new level of obedience is required for where I am going?

August is here, and I believe the hard shift has begun.
